Roma Daphine Walley, 76, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at her home. She was born Tuesday, December 21, 1943 in Louin, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 3, 2020 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Lake Como Baptist Church in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Lake Como Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Paul Hand will officiate. Daphine was a homemaker and a devoted member of Lake Como Baptist Church since 1962, where she kept the nursery for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Walley; her parents, John Oliver, Sr. and Ruby Phillips; her son, Timothy Walley; her siblings, Perry Donald "Duck" Phillips, John Oliver Phillips, Jr., Joann Phillips Graves Chezem, and Frances Jolene Phillips Roberts Simmons.

Survivors include her daughters, Sereda Knotts and Janice Rigdon; her grandchildren, Ali Knotts and Bruce Knotts; Six great-granchidren and two brothers, Leroy Phillips and Randall Phillips (Shirley).

Pallbearers will be Russ Graves, Josh McDonald, J. D. Phillips, Donnie Phillips, Howard McDonald, and Lane Starbuck.
