She was born on June 6,1935, in Crystal Springs, MS to Warren Bradley Johnson (Bradley) and Evangeline Katherine Ward Johnson (Eva Kate). She was married to Jimmie Troy Puckett, Sr (Jimmie).

She is survived by five of her six children, Ginger Rankin of Texas, Vidonia (Steve) Smith of Mississippi, Troy (Mona) Puckett of Oklahoma, Michelle Stults of Mississippi, Patsy (Michael) Holyfield of Mississippi; her brother, James Carroll (Nelda) Johnson of Texas; her 13 grandchildren Katie Rankin, April (Joel) Smith Snowden, Emily (Brian) Smith Miller, Stephanie Smith, Jimmie (Jenny) Puckett, Jared (Katie) Puckett, Austin (Jennifer) Stults, Joanna (Josh) Stults Donnigan, Whitney (Michael) Stults Willliams, Reagan (Victoria) Holyfield, Bryan (Hannah) Holyfield, Grace (Luke) Holyfield Williams, Caleb (Melanie) Holyfield, and 35 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Earline's faith in Jesus shaped her life. She trusted Him with her whole heart and was His loving, giving servant. Even with her busy life with 6 children under 10, she was always ready to help others. Whether she was hauling kids in the community to VBS, taking people to doctor appointments, or being hospitable, she went above and beyond to care for and listen to others. She counted her blessings, which were many. She loved people, loved to work, and she loved to play. She asked God daily for every step and lived one day at a time. She endured, persevered and never gave up, because she had a living hope and a faith that was alive. She wasn't perfect, but she was redeemed by Jesus, reconciled with God, and walked by His Spirit. Mamaw had a special bond with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, loving them all selflessly. Many nights she prayed their names out loud asking God to save and help them.
She would want all her family and friends to rejoice that she is home with Jesus, and to choose to follow Him too.
Family and friends. Let's all give more than we take, love more than we are loved, endure and persevere, and bear one another's burdens.
May 1, 2025, was the best day of her life, because she heard Him say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"
We will all miss her so, but her legacy of faith will live on for years to come.
