Rudolph Cassel Ishee, 66, of Louin, MS died Friday, December 30, 2016 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born Tuesday, September 19, 1950 in Laurel, MS.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 01, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Louin Cemetery in Louin, MS. Rudy retired with 22 years of service in the Mississippi National Guard and retired earlier this year from Howard Industries, Laurel, MS. He was an avid book reader, coin collector, enjoyed growing plants, flowers and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucian Ishee and Hilda Fay Ishee.

Survivors include his son, Joshua Ishee, Stapleton, AL, daughter, Hilda Faye Ishee, Laurel, MS, son, Seth Ishee, Laurel, MS, step-daughter, Melissa Gatlin, Hattiesburg, MS, step-son, David Gatlin, Stapleton, AL, step-son, Don Flashner, Wilmer, AL, step-daughter, Robin Gayle Ishee, Tuckerton, NJ, step-daughter, Amy Logan, Eucutta, MS, 10 grand children, brother, Mark Ishee (Debbie), Louin, MS, sister, Marcia Odom (Ricky), Silver Creek, MS,a host of nieces and nephews, and special loved one, Jan Pledger and family.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Jefcoats, Marty Ishee, Ronnie Odom, James Sharp, Shamus Sharp, Corey Loftin.
