Sheila Ann Gore

Sheila Ann Gore, 63, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Wesley Merit Health in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born on June 10, 1961, in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Sheila was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, playing games, visiting the casino, making jokes, and bringing laughter to those around her. Her love for animals was well-known, and she was a strong individual who cared deeply for her two loving daughters. Sheila will be greatly missed by all her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mack W. Anderson; mother, Effie L. Bowen Handy; and brother, Phillip Wayne Anderson.

She is survived by her daughters, Marissa Boykin of Mount Enterprise, TX, and Miranda Boykin of Raleigh, MS; her brother, Arthur Lewis, III of Everett, WA; a nephew, and a host of other family members and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh.
