Shelly Evelyn Coats, 87, of Louin, Mississippi, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Friday, January 8, 1932 in Soso, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Louin Cemetery and the Burial will follow in Louin Cemetery. Bro. Clifford Lazenby will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Winton Coats, parents, father, John Marshall Green, mother, Martha Ebbie Green Griffin, brother, W.B Green.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Skipper (Ricky), son, Mark Coats (Cynthia), grandchildren, Lauren Wade (Jeremy), Hunter Vanderslice, Travis Coats, Gabby Coats, Marcus Harris, Katie Gardner, great-grandchildren, Drew Wade, Emmalyn Wade, Ellie Gardner, Talliah Gardner, sister, Linda Windham, brother, Breland Green (Berniece),a host of nieces and nephews and special friends, Twanna Clayton, Marietha Davis, Rozanna Leitaker.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Skipper, Jeremy Wade, Steve Green, Mike Green, Jordan Sarrett and Johnny Leggett.
