Sherry Shenee Lacy Franklin, 59, of Raleigh, Mississippi, died Tuesday June 26, 2018 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, February 5, 1959 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Harmony Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Burton and Martha Baldwin Dukes and her granddaughter, Tristan Lacy.

Survivors include her husband,  Kenny H. Franklin, Raleigh, MS; children Michael Lacy, Mize, MS, Shawn Lacy (Sabrina), Brandon, MS; siblings, Pete Burton (Reesa), Ball, LA, Syretha Hadley (Tony), Mize, MS, Earnest Burton (Renee), Mize, MS, Eric Burton, Mize, MS, Hubert Gibson (Kathy), Mize, MS; grandchildren, Hunter McDowell, Chloe Lacy, Cooper Lacy, Carson Lacy, Cadence Lacy.

Pallbearers will be Earnest Burton, Tony Hadley, Pete Burton, Eric Burton, Hubert Gibson and Will Burton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kolby Burton, Claude Baldwin and Dalton Hallman.
