Sherrie Lou Brown, age 72,  of Louin, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 10:00 am until 10:50 am at First Baptist Church of Louin.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Louin.

Burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Bay Springs.

Bro. Keith Ulmer will officiate.

Mrs. Brown was born in Bay Springs, and was a lifelong resident of Louin. By profession, she was a counselor retiring from Weems Mental Health Services in Bay Springs. She was a member of  First Baptist Church of Louin. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and gardening, and especially enjoyed being with her family and loving her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. and Trudie Hancock Eason, her brother, Joe Eason and her sister, Ann Blakeney.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Brown of Louin;  sons, Thomas Brewer (Kelli) of Bay Springs, Shane Brewer (Christina) of Louin and Cameron Brown (Tonya) of Chatanooga, TN;  daughters, Crystal Gilliam (Jeffrey) of Louin and Audrey Waldrop (John) of Pensacola, FL;  twelve grandsons, Zackary Gregory (Macie), Tanner Guynes (Allison) , Blake Brewer (Holly), Pace Brewer, Paxton Brewer, Dalton Brewer (Courtney), Hayden Brewer, Kayden Brewer, Abram Waldrop, Noam Waldrop, Cash Brown, and Owen Brown; five great- grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several nieces  and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Blake Brewer, Zack Gregory, Tanner Guynes, Pace Brewer, Paxton Brewer, and Ethan Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton Brewer, Abram Waldrop, Noam Waldrop, Owen Brown, Cash Brown, Hayden Brewer, and Kayden Brewer.

Special music will be provided by Mrs. Lori Ulmer and Mr. Ray Pugh.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
