Sherry Cook Rhodes, 71, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, August 13, 1947 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Holders Methodist Church Cemetery and the Burial will follow in Holders Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Sherry had a great love and devotion for her family. She loved caring for others and helping them during their time of need. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson Houston. She would go on any hunting or fishing adventure with him. Sherry also loved canning pickles and cooking for the family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Rhodes, parents, Houston and Bernice Cook, sister, Tammy Gray.

Survivors include her sons, Justin Rhodes (Wendy), Stephen Rhodes (Chrissy), grandchildren; Houston Rhodes, Drew Phillips (Jade), Alyssa Blackwell, Logan Blackwell, great-grandchildren; Bentley and Ava Kate Phillips, brother, Ricky Cook (Linda).

Pallbearers will be Jay Anthony, Ken Parker, John Gilliland, Nick McNeil, R.H. Stockman and Danny Sims.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Holders Methodist church.
