Tressie H. Rogan, 89, of Raleigh, MS passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the Care Center of Raleigh in Raleigh, Ms. She was born Monday, September 11, 1933 in Smith County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh on 219 Sylvarena Ave, Raleigh, Mississippi. The funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. The burial will then take place in Merchants Cemetery. Dr. Ron Kitchens will officiate. Tressie moved from her home in Raleigh to Tallulah, Louisianna as a young adult to be near her sister Ruth. That is where she met the love of her life, George Rogan. The couple lived there for their entire married life. Tressie moved back to Raleigh in 2017 and lived the rest of her life in the same town where she grew up.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Rogan; father, Woodrow Hall; mother, Lula B. Puckett Hall; brothers, J.B. Hall; sisters, Nora Boykin and Ruth Neumann.

Survivors include her sons, Fred Rogan (Linda), Mike Rogan (Susan) and Mark Rogan (Mindi); daughter, Gail Spagnola (Mickey); brothers, Billy Hall, Woodrow Hall, Jr.; sisters, Elaine Johnson, Ilene Hall; grandsons, Craig Rogan (Gui Hua) and Brett Rogan; granddaughters, Tina Bethel (Shawn) and Erin Arnold (Will); great grandson, Brent Bethel; great granddaughter, Sierra Bethel as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the personal caregivers of Gentiva Hospice and the staff of the Care Center of Raleigh for their unmatched care for Tressie during the final months of her life. Words cannot express what your attentive compassion meant to all of us.
