Velma Rose Buffington, 69, of Raleigh, Mississippi, died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Raleigh, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, December 28, 1949 in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh and the Burial will follow in Easterling Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Jessie Buffington Sr., parents, Charlie Buck and Ruthie Victoria Easterling, brothers, Hollis Easterling, Will Easterling, Ralph Easterling, Dan Easterling, Andrew Easterling, Otis Easterling,  sisters, Aundean Hegwood, Gladys Smith, Roberta Whatley.

Survivors include her son,Vernon Buffington (Elvia), grandchildren, April Ainsworth (James), Elvia Harrison (Tyler), David Marin, great-grandchildren, Erica Ainsworth, Eric Ainsworth, Brandon Ainsworth, Bristol Ainsworth, sister, Mary Williams.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
