Victor Eugene Bryant, 67 of Magee, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at Raleigh. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh. Burial will follow in Merchant Cemetery. Bro. Shane Lambert will officiate.

Mr. Bryant was a lifelong resident of Smith County, a graduate of Raleigh High School and was a retired electrician. He was a musician who enjoyed playing the drums and steel guitar, playing in numerous bands far and wide. A favorite past time was riding horses, and spending time with his family. He was a Christian by faith and a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Bryant; mother, Nancy Canoy Bryant; brother, Stanley Bryant (Terri); father-in-law, Olen Bowen.

Survivors include his wife of almost 45 years, Lesia A. Bowen Bryant of Magee; daughter, Stacey Bryant of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Joann Bowen and his canine companion, Sam.

Pallbearers will be Clint Bryant, Jason Bryant, Anthony Craft, Darren Craft, Dustin Lambert, and Chandler Wagster.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Lambert, Tony Bryant, and Leon Bryant.

Special music will be performed by Donna Ainsworth, Travis Bryant, and Talbert Bryant.
