Virginia Ann Arnold, 75, of Sardis Community, died Wednesday November 18, 2020, at her residence in Morton, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, September 12, 1945 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Sardis Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Franklin Arnold; parents, W.J. and Pearl Smith; brothers, Edwin Earl Smith, Jimmie Walter Smith, and  Billy Carl Smith; sister, Bertie Carolyn  Derrick.

Survivors include her son, David Earl Smith (Bobbie); daughters, Sandra Mahaffey (Robbe), Arlene Speights (Randy), and Jessica Rickman (Clark); grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Justin Smith, Stephen Speights, Daniel Mahaffey, Mollie Bounds, David Mahaffey, Jim Brewer Speights, and Ginger Rickman; great grandchildren, Liam Everett Smith, Olivia James Bounds, Jonathan Speights; A host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Smith, Justin Smith, Stephen Speights, Jim Brewer Speights. Daniel Mahaffey, and David Mahaffey.
