Virginia Ruth Sims, 85, of Louin, Mississippi, passed away, Monday, October 11, 2021, at her home. She was born Tuesday, February 4, 1936.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Graveside Services will follow at 3:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Sims; her parents, Mack and Mary McCool; three brothers, Roy McCool, Ham McCool, and Harold McCool.

Survivors include her children, Timothy Sims (Penny), Tammy Sims, and Mary Lynn Sims; grandchildren, Josh Breland (Kelsey), Emily Sims, and Savannah Sims; great-grandchildren, Kylan Dickens, Jaxson Dickens, and Wrenly-Ray Breland; sister, Maxine Phillips (Stanley).
