Voncille B. Keyes, 87 of Bay Springs, MS passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, May 9, 1936, in Leroy, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Batley; mother, Jewel Gill Batley; brothers, Fred Warren Batley, W.E. Batley, Joseph Edward Batley and J.L. Batley; sisters, Jewel Taylor, Gladys Allday and Carrie Myrick.

Survivors include her daughters, Camellia Hightower (Lynwood) and Cassie Burton (Steve), and Christina Wilmot (Chris); grandchildren, Chistopher Todd Burton (Hope) and Zachary Paul Hightower; great grandchildren, Will Burton and Kate Burton.
