Wanda Sue Glenn, 84 of Bay Springs, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at her home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Monday, January 13, 1941, in Bay Springs, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and the burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Bay Springs. Bro. Steve Hollaway, Bro. Nathan Brown, and Bro. William Savell will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181
Wanda was a nurse for 27 years, working at Jasper General Nursing Home and at the Smith County Hospital. She wrote two books and enjoyed painting. She taught Sunday School for 10 years and was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. She loved the Lord.
Wanda was preceded in death her precious husband of 64 years, Joe C. Glenn; by her father, Tom Green and her mother, Opal Pugh Wiseman; five brothers, Glenn Green, Joseph Wiseman, Gigi Wiseman (Donna) and Patrick Wiseman and one sister, Martha Goonan.
Survivors include three daughters, Joann Shannon and Donna Quarles (Mickey), both of of Bay Springs, and Sonja Tullos (Mark) of Raleigh; one son, Keith Glenn (Caryn) of Lawrenceville, GA; nine grandchildren, Kimbra Jones, Joanna Michelle Gipson (Josh), Dustin McKenzie, Hailey Quarles-Mayo, Wolf Glenn, Chase Glenn, Kari Stanley (Brad), Britt Tullos (Christy) and Taylor Meeks (Zack); twelve great-grandchildren and one sister, Boyce Christopher (John) of Madison and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dustin McKenzie, Britt Tullos, Wolf Glenn, Chase Glenn, Kane Blakeney, Kody McKenzie, and Josh Gipson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Braxton McKenzie.
