Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Of Bay Springs for Wanda S. Myrick, 69, who passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at her residence. Interment will be at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Jasper County, MS. Bro. Josh King will officiate the services. The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs.

Mrs. Myrick was a first-grade teacher for over 30 years at Bay Springs Elementary School. She enjoyed gardening, yardwork and anything outdoors. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry "T-Bird" Myrick and her parents, Jake and Catherine Sims.

She is survived by her son, Lucas Myrick (Jennifer), her granddaughters, Jayden and Claire Myrick, her brothers, Richard Sims (Gayron) and Jay Sims (Cathy) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Sims, Allen Sims, Chris Sims, Keith Sims, Kelly Segraves, and Allan Abbey.
