William Mason Russ Jr., 75, of Raleigh, MS passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 at his residence. He was born Monday, May 10, 1948 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 5:00 until 8:00 at Salem Baptist Church in Raleigh, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 04/17/2024 at 2:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church in Raleigh, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Dennistown Cemetery Mt Olive, MS. Bro. Stevie Hand and Bro. Shane Lambert will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements. 6017642181

He was preceded in death by his father, William Mason Russ; mother, Sally Cornelia Brown; and his wife of 38 years, Judy Burks Russ.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Brantley; his fiancé of 15 years, Linda Lambert; grandsons, Mason Brantley and Russ Simmons; as well as 4 step-children, 7 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great grandchildren, 3 step-great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dale Hester, Dale Fredrick, Larry Lambert, Mason Brantley, Russ Simmons, and Wayne Hollie.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Ware.
