Obituary

Zachary Karl Baughman, 36, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Friday, August 6, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, February 12, 1985 in Metairie, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Private Services will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.  Graveside service is open to all friends and family.   Bro. Caleb Rawls will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Baughman, father, Rodney Baughman, paternal grandparents, Barney and Alice Baughman and maternal grandparents, Ervin and Ruth Savell.
Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Taylor Baughman, son, Clayton James "CJ" Baughman, parents, Jeanie and Eart Valentine, Brother Zeb Baughman, Step Sister Veronica (Helen) Hernandez and nephew Sabastain Bracknell.
Zac was employed with Chain Electric and leaves behind a host of friends and coworkers that he considered family.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Williams, Steven Gavin, Eric Wiggington, Anthony Mitchell, Tyler Graham and
Payton Graham
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Baughman, Jarrett Savell and Sabastain Bracknell
